Full-stack engineer and UX-minded team lead who has been building for the web since the 1990s - from hand-written Perl/CGI and self-administered web, DNS and mail servers to today's Vue 3, Node and AI-assisted workflows. For the past five years I've led front-end product for regulated iGaming operators - Bitsler, FanDuel and PokerStars - shipping high-traffic casino and sportsbook experiences on top of real-time APIs, websockets and live data feeds. I pair hands-on engineering with a strong design sense and team leadership: mentoring developers, setting conventions, and working directly with business owners to turn product goals into shipped software.

Bitsler/Front-End Development Lead

  • Lead the front-end team behind Bitsler's crypto casino and sportsbook, owning the player-facing UI direction and the technical conventions the team builds to.
  • Engineer feature-rich, real-time interfaces in Vue 3, TypeScript and Node, consuming platform APIs, websockets and live data feeds - balancing UX polish against performance at scale.
  • Driving a ground-up rebuild of the internal admin platform as a modern Vue 3 application, replacing a legacy PHP backoffice.
  • Run the team day to day - 1:1s, hiring and interviewing, code review - and partner with business owners to shape the roadmap.

  • Took the FanDuel Explore app from concept to production.
  • Delivered front-end and API / micro-service work across FanDuel's US sportsbook and casino, building data feeds and filtering layers in JS, Node, React, React Native and Backbone.
